How to sell natural diamonds in the Bay Area
If you’re selling a diamond ring or loose natural diamond, the fastest way to get an accurate range is to bring the right details (or upload them first). This guide explains what buyers evaluate and how to prepare.
What most impacts value
- Carat weight (and measurements)
- Cut quality (especially for rounds)
- Color & clarity
- Fluorescence and overall make
- Certificate (GIA is the most common for natural diamonds)
What to bring
- Any lab report/certificate you have
- Side profile photos (to show depth) if starting online
- The full ring if it’s mounted (we also evaluate the setting)
- Valid photo ID (required for purchases)
Fastest ways to start
Note: We focus on natural diamonds. If you’re unsure what you have, we can help identify it during your visit.
